More formats. Fewer pucks.

Fast Format Pucks

Slim, strong walls create more room for bottles and inserts. Reuse the outer puck across suitable bottle formats and change lower-cost inserts, giving your line more flexibility with fewer complete pucks to buy and store.

Why Fast Format Pucks?

More formats. Fewer pucks.

More room. Same outer format.

Slim, strong walls leave more space for the insert and bottle. Explore larger bottle formats within your existing outer puck dimensions.

Change inserts. Keep your pucks.

Reuse a suitable outer carrier across bottle formats and change the lower-cost insert. Buy and store fewer complete pucks as your range grows.

More flexibility from your line.

A custom puck can help a new bottle fit within your current machine format. We check the space, support and interfaces with you before production.

Use cases

Stable containers. Smooth production.

Pucks support containers that are difficult to transport or position independently. Each design is evaluated around the real container and packaging process.

01

Unstable or unusual containers

Support bottles that cannot stand or travel reliably on their own.

02

Filling and capping lines

Locate containers as they move through process and transfer stations.

03

Cosmetic and personal-care packaging

Accommodate shaped containers and sensitive packaging surfaces.

04

Multiple bottle formats

Reuse a suitable outer carrier and change lower-cost inserts for different bottles.

05

Replacement and repeat production

Reproduce a validated handling component from its retained specification.

06

Small-batch development

Prototype and refine container support before larger production quantities.

Engineering & configurations

Designed around your machine.

Start with your outer puck dimensions and the bottle you want to run. We design around the available machine space, transfer points, loading and unloading needs. Slim walls create space for the bottle and insert; where formats share a suitable outer interface, one carrier can serve several bottles. We confirm geometry, tolerances and fit with you before production.

Available approaches

One-piece carrier

Custom outer geometry and bottle support in a single component.

Outer body with insert

Keep the outer carrier and change a lower-cost insert when bottle formats share a suitable outer interface.

Reverse-engineered replacement

Adapt an existing puck from samples, CAD, photos or measurement data.

Application-specific guide and interface features

Geometry agreed against the machine and production duty.

Performance & assurance

Stable container support and repeatable positioning through your filling and packaging process. The design is matched to your bottle, machine and operating conditions, with the required fit and performance checks agreed before production.

Quality & inspection

Critical dimensions, machine interfaces, insert fit and retention features are checked against the agreed specification. Inspection and validation requirements are confirmed for your application, and the approved design is retained for repeat orders.

How we work

From part information to production.

01

Share the application

Send a drawing, container model, part photograph or machine reference.

02

Engineering review

We consider how the container must move and what machine interfaces matter.

03

Produce & inspect

Confirm the design, method and agreed inspections before release.

04

Retain the specification

Keep the approved manufacturing geometry available for repeat supply.

Straightforward repeat orders

Need one more? Order one more.

We retain your approved design for repeat orders. If a puck is lost or damaged, order an individual replacement at the same agreed unit price and keep your existing set in service.

Make an enquiry

Send what you have.

Start with the outer puck width, height and depth in millimetres. Add an estimated quantity or photo if you have them. Not sure of a measurement? Send what you have; we’ll confirm the bottle and machine details together.

Questions before you start?

Common starting points for specifying and ordering made-to-fit parts.

How do I request an offer for pucks?

Start with the outer puck width, height and depth in millimetres. An estimated quantity and a photo of your bottle or existing puck are useful but optional. You do not need a complete CAD model. Send what you have, and we will confirm the bottle support, machine interfaces and any missing dimensions together.

Can one puck use inserts for different bottle formats?

Yes, where the bottle formats share a suitable outer puck format. You keep the outer carrier and change a lower-cost insert to support each bottle, reducing the number of complete pucks to buy and store. We check the available space, support and machine interfaces for the formats you want to run.

How quickly can you deliver pucks?

Delivery is within 3 weeks after the order and design are confirmed. Your offer sets out the delivery schedule for your parts, so you know what to plan for.

Can I reorder a single lost or damaged puck?

Yes. We retain your approved design, so you can order an individual replacement at the same agreed unit price. This applies to a repeat of the approved design; changes to the bottle, dimensions or specification are reviewed with you.

Do I need a complete drawing for a replacement puck?

Not necessarily. Existing components, measurements, photographs and machine references may be sufficient to begin an engineering review. Any missing critical dimensions need confirming before manufacture.

What determines the best material for a puck?

Container contact, cleaning conditions, wear, stiffness, temperature, surface finish and the selected production process all affect material selection. Declarations and suitability are project-specific.
